Derren Brown should have woke the lad up from his trance standing amongst a mock up of a burning wreck of a plane on a runway. Would have taught the schmuck not to break into peoples houses.

It was some inspired TV to say the least. Some of it was a bit extreme, well near enough all of it was but it sure made for some epic tele. Are there more of these going to be coming on? Derren Brown is a great, great man. Sometimes I wonder why he's not in some proper position of power, like the leader of MI6 or the head of the UN or something.

I enjoyed it alot, but unfortunately I didn't like it as much as I liked his previous psychological magic shows (Trick of the Mind and Trick or Treat). Its very noble from him that he decided to go for a "life changing" show and he pulled it out incredibly well, although I still missed a bit of the mystery of his other projects.
But he's still a master of a drama queen and some of the scenes where amazing: the train thing was nearly life changing for me, think what has been for the guy who was there. And I have to admit that the moment when he stood up and decided to land the plane was epic.
Some of the bits were a bit cheeky though, like when he finds the van and tells the driver about his recent life changes and you see Derren Brown watching him from the window and grinning with pride, yes that was veeery cheeky but what the hell, it made me want to be kind and treat people with humanity, so it was great. Not that I don't treat people with humanity already but it was very motivating.
