Its...."fine" for me. Bit disappointed. You can't hear "liam" or "David grohl" in there....their both mad punk, glam rock and beatles fans....but there's not any of that in here. Just sounds like "producer music" to me...very modern and polished and all that but I doubt liam sings this stuff in the shower. At 50 he's not gonna have a new audience discover him so he'd be better off making music he likes. This is soulless, fine, but souless.
I like it! Verses are quite Madchester-ish. I don't like that acoustic break during the chorus, it makes the songs sound way too commercial, but he's making music for Warner Records now, not for Creation, so I understand it has to be polished and in line with certain trends. I think this will play out really well live

I though there's was loads of young madferrits going to his gigs? At least thats the impression I've gotten when watch stuff on YouTube.
Anyway, I'm about 3 or 4 listens through and I like it but I'm a total Liam fanboy. I'd listen to him sing absolutely anything and probably love it. Hope there's some stomping bangers on the album but I won't hold my breath.
Also, is Dave Grohl doing some backing vocals on it? I heard he played drums on it but I'd say the backing vocals sound a bit like him as well. Watch this space for the next rock supergroup, THE BEADY FOOS.
Don't like the verses a lot, too generic. Read you saying mainstream and didn't know where that was coming from, then the chorus is like Liam singing a Taylor Swift song and.. I definitely like it. The following uh uhs should disappear though

Really? Haven't been to one of his gigs in the last 5 years then? They're full of young kids
