He sounds quite fine and something about the phrasing on the first one is cool but instrumentally they all sound so void and uneventful. Nothing terrible either but I don't think there's been a song on this rollout I've actually enjoyed, at this point I just hope there's at least one of those for me.

Bit of a weird album in that they commit 80% to the regular pastiche music you expect from a Gallagher and then do something odd or don't quite give you what you want or expect. Like the 'SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW LOVE' bit in C'Mon You Know. It's not CRAZY OUTHERE WEIRDO music but definitely not as immediate as usual. More Power sounds like a load of different attempts to write the same song forced together. It sounds like Coldplay for about 8 seconds then goes off into something else. The ballad is a bit much.
I'm not sure if it is any good but definitely a billion times better than anything that sad little cunt is capable of obviously.

I think there were 3-4 on 'why me why not' that I quite liked (once, obvs and the title track are the only two I remember offhand) and I liked most of 'as you were', but I agree. None of the songs I've heard so far off this are worthy of Liam's voice. |

Just had a listen through. It's a bit more colourful then the previous 2, and there is are some nice flourishes on the production. It seemed to flow quite nicely and seemed quite cohesive. Looking forward to another listen through later on.
