Let's fix the 15th for any last minute entry?

Two albums that would've been in my top 5 had I heard them in time.

Needlepoint- Walking Up That Valley
Pure psychedelic Canterbury scene folk jazz rock direct from ummmm, Norway.

Emma-Jean Thackray- Yellow
This record is AMAZING. Moves effortlessly between pure Spiritual Jazz, Jazz Funk, Funk, even 90s US Garage House. She writes, composes, produces, engineers and plays half the instruments (guitar, vibes, synths, organ, trumpet, percussion). This hit my real sweet spot and possibly would've challenged Promises for top spot. What a talent!

Emma-Jean Thackray I think is a student of Keith Tippet, the great late British jazz player. I read it somewhere. I heard the album a bit in the record shop, it sounded cool, though a bit too ethereal for me. Worth a listen though.
Tippett did a record back in '71, Dedicated To You, But You Weren't Listening - one of my favourite album covers ever.

I enjoyed far more reading things like what titch wrote and imagining how it would sound than listening to it
