2 eps and two full lengths in the past 366 days, the new Pollard? The new Hello Whirled?
Really dug this on first listen. Where as the last record had a lot of different styles this one feels more focused & uniformed in its sound, really atmospheric and melancholic.

The marketing team at Bat Chain have really let Tuckerman down this time Can't pretend I'm not disappointed but all is forgiven. And at least there is now an excuse for the lack of interest in this release. We go again and can put things right with album 3.

My sarcasm detector is broken. If you actually like the cover, then that's excellent because I spent a maximum of about 45 minutes making it. Be good to know my time wasn't completely wasted.

I heard a few songs here and there - I'll definitely give it a proper listen this weekend because I know, even if we pretend this stuff is not important, it is important.
I really liked your latest EP and I can already tell you are moving forward, you've definitely stepped up every aspect of your game with this, especially the sound. You still have that quintessential bedroom sound but it has a lot more personality now. "Finally" had a few great melodies - this doesn't sound as melodic/catchy at first, but I really need to listen to it more. Perhaps you went for something less immediate and more rewarding in the long run?!
By the way I'm a bit envious, I wish I had written that first tune. Tux I think your stuff is a wonderful example of what I call pocket music. If a great band is a PlayStation 4, you sound like the Game Boy version of it. And I think it's great.

I'd definitely be interested to hear your thoughts when you've had a proper listen. With this, I think I was more focused on a certain mood/sound more than I was focused on catchy melodies. Even on the stuff from FINALLY, I didn't put a big effort into melodies really - they just came natrually / I got lucky. A lot of the songs here, I spent lots of time on the music then once it was done, because I'm impatient, I rushed the lyrics and getting the vocals recorded. But overall, I'm really happy with it considering all I used were 2 guitars - 1 that probably cost £70 that my Mum got me for my birthday about 10 years ago and a my daughters pink kids guitar that cost something like £25 - some software for putting effects on the guitar and adding pianos/synths, and a mic that isn't really designed for recording guitar. For number 3, I'm focusing on lyrics and song structure a bit more. I'm going to try and be more patient and not rush things and perhaps that will come out in the overall sound and songs themselves. Thanks again for taking the time to listen. It is greatly appreciated.

I'm 3 tracks in and I'm enjoying it! "Green Snake" is my fave so far because I like that guitar sound. Good on ya Tuckerman and I will continue listening as my time allows.

Sorry tucks, I'm planning to giving this some listens but now I'm busy working on the 2021 list (December is not a release month ffs) The marketing department did recommend waiting until jan 1st. A few ratings on RYM and it could have charted for a week or so, thus creating buzz But tuckerman waits for no man.

Thanks for taking a listen, bakester! Green Snake, I'm a bit annoyed with the final mix. The guitar sound, yep, great. But I wish I'd gotten the vocals and piano higher in the mix. Unfortunately I no longer have the individual tracks so it is what it is.

MYSTERY OF THE LOST INDIVIDUAL TRACKS
Listening further, I like "The Difference You Could Make".

Digging this back up in the hope that a few more people will have a listen.
I've started writing again for the 3rd record. Most recently, I've been working on an atmospheric synth rock track which really gets going in the chorus.
