I find I always go back to this album over anything else they have done and I don't know why. I simply love it. This is the last time I believe they've done anything good over a full album. Just think about what followed this up HEATHEN CHEMISTRY - what a piece of shit that was
I am not a huge fan of Put Yer Money Where You Mouth Is - I kind of wish they omitted it and maybe put Let's All Make Believe on it.
I don't even mind LITTLE JAMES.
Fuck, that era of Oasis was great - If I am on YouTube listening to Oasis it's around the 2000/2001 tours

Fuck - Gas Panic might be the best song DWAYNE ever wrote.

I remember on the 2000 tour Noel left the band and everybody worried and they just got someone else in and he did the fucking job.
Fuck Noel.

Jesus, I know that was 20+ years ago, but Andy Bell looks so young there!
Also, at least 50% of that album is appalling. The good stuff is very good, though.

Agreed! It's something about that tour and Oasis in general that gets me hard as a rock. Gem was alright back then, he wasn't writing shit music for them and Sardy wasn't around etc. The last glory days of the band really.

The first Oasis record that was released at a time when I was old enough (16-17) to realise this music thing was actually changing my life.
I love every second of it.

Fuck - Gas Panic might be the best song DWAYNE ever wrote. 21 years ago, that's fucking mental. I was born in 1984, 21 years previous to that man hadn't even walked on the moon, Woodstock hadn't taken place, The Beatles released their debut album, punk wasn't even a thing and yet those kind of events events when I was younger felt like the ancient past when the reality was it hadn't been that long ago.

That 2001 Brotherly Love tour was amazing as well... I think the Boston show is on YouTube and Liam is on top form.

Was it Denver or something that had the incredible bootleg? Played that a ton

Yeah, I think that bootleg was a soundboard rip - really good quality.
Great thing about the 2001 tour they only did 12 songs a night so that's the right amount for a live record by them lol.

I got it on now - not sure if it's the almighty rip or not.

Since release it’s been either their third or fourth best album for me. This never changes. I love it.

SOTSOG has aged really well, imo. Especially when you consider a lot of the dross Oasis released after.
