Probably his best flowing album, and with a couple of really good songs, plenty of pleasant moments, although I’m struggling massively to find anything that’s truly great here.
All things considered, this album is definitely better than a kick in the balls.

I’ve only had a chance to listen to it twice so far but to me, it’s…fine. I don’t really like that love is a rich man song, but I kind of love the Moby dick one. And think of a number is great. It’s definitely better than who built the moon, but isn’t at the level of his first two.
6.5/10 I guess?
(But be prepared for it to end up at #3 on my year-end list after supergaz and the hives.)

I'd agree with what seems to be the consensus so far - no real lows, no real highs, all a bit mid.
I quite like his Mind Games cover though.

Ehhh I gave it all a listen and it seemed a chore. I gave it a second listen playing a song here and there to get para's opinion and she said "well that's not to bad" but that was what she said to every track. There was no "wow great song" or "fuck that track"....
Is TTFAWTBAG: P1 the best track on that or am I just longing for some old Noel shit?

Still no big highlights, I hate the gray production and some of the vocals but it's slightly growing on me as a whole. And it's a shame because I'm finding annoying bits on songs I would otherwise enjoy more, which is not usual.
