Tbf, analysis is boring and just involves people taking the action back after a goal and pointing out where the mistake was made, which anyone who knows their football is quite capable of doing.
Another bit of analysis is ascribing all second half turnarounds to playing a 'higher line'.
It's boring, only want to see the goals really.
That said is Shearer is being paid thousands of pounds a week of tax payers money then he should really have known a little bit about Ben Arthur.

the intro sequence is the worst thing ever.
oh and the fact that every other sentence out of Lawrenson's mouth is a piss-poor attempt at a fucking joke. I can't stand that man.

He's got a point, I don't think Ian Wright is the answer and I think he's a shit pundit but even he'd be an improvement on the other people on that sofa. Right now it's just a bunch of people smiling and nodding and agreeing with each other, it's got such an old boys club vibe. Given the choice I'd prefer a Wright over a Lawro and that's saying something. Can't believe Shearer thought Ben Arfa was off the radar

Nah but honestly, you wouldn't prefer Ian Wright to any of those people. MOTD has been stale for a while now I agree. They definitely need to shake it up a bit and by shake it up a bit I don't mean give Colin Murray any more airtime, that's for sure.

the intro sequence is the worst thing ever For MOTD or MOTD2? Or are they same, I can't remember? Anyway, I really like the MOTD2 intro with the merging of past and present players, it sadly goes downhill after it. But yeah, John Motson does need to retire and Colin Murray go back to radio station I don't listen to. I'd even take Adrian Chiles back

It looks like it was made on a budget of about £25! They've made no effort to actually merge fuck all, it looks cheap and shite.

I think Colin Murray is really good on MOTD2. There was an interview with Shearer a while back where he said that he doesn't like to give a negative opinion on players because he might have to work with them as a manager Linekar is spot on as a presenter I think, holds court and links things nicely. But Shearer and Lawro are fucking horrible. Mark Lawrenson is a smarmy sarcastic cunt who seems to hold the whole of football in utter contempt. Shearer is just bland. Horrible voice too.

I couldn't believe what I was watching for a minute while that was happening. A real WTF moment. Although it was all redeemed when after David Ginola went in a huff that he got it wrong Colin Murray said something along the lines of "You lost, now get over it." So harsh. God I fucking hate Colin Murray.

Haha yeah, Ginola was genuinely pissed off, although I think I might be if I'd just lost to Lee Dixon. I did think Ginola was a refreshing guest overall though.
I was wondering if the 'competition' was an ironic retaliation to Collymore's comments, but then again, it probably wasn't...
