This has to be my favourite song since the new year. I just love that tingling and melancholic guitar work, and the vocals are incredible in places.

my favourite at the moment is a song called "Vamos Estudiantes" by an Uruguayan songwriter called Daniel Viglietti. I discovered it while I was looking for revolutionary and political South American songs from the dictatorship years, musica de la resistencia. Most of us is familiar with brazilian music, but a lot of South American countries in the 60s/70s have produced a number of heroic artists and great thinkers. I really wish I was good enough to do a worthy cover of this song for a future release or just for the sake of it.
