Sparklehorse - Gold Day
I've only just discovered the music of Mark Linkous but it's as perfect as music comes. That'll be another dead genius lo-fi songwriter I've discovered too late to see live then, sigh!

^ ^ | | nice song (edit ) I met some young lads waiting for the Eels concert who were really mad with Leonard Cohen, talking about books and vinyls and other shit. Made me interested in him for the first time in my life, need to find time to check him... Anyway, don't like these threads but I can say that right now I'm addicted to The Lovin' Spoonful's Summer In The City

That's one of those songs you should never listen after breaking up, it's that depressing. But after you're over it it's such a beautiful and touching piece of music ;D

Grinderman - Palaces Of Montezuma
It's the most un-Grinderman sounding tune on the album, not sure why it wasn't saved for a Bad Seeds record but either way, my favourite song on the new record.
