Anyone heard of him? A lad at work suggested I give him a listen and he's got some pretty good tunes, should appeal to fans of Ryan Adams. My favourite by him at the minute is 'White Daisy Passing' which I've kindly posted below.

yeah that's not bad but there's another good thousand of folk musicians right now that are doing this very same thing and its getting irritating honestly. All those pretty delicate tunes with whispered vocals and gentle guitar strumming and these lyrics about nice little tiny minute things like raindrops...these people are really getting on my nerves, where do they live, in the land of the smurfs?
So yeah its a nice tune and all, but its SO nice that it doesn't have any charisma.

Fair points tbh.
Was listening to an album of his earlier called 'Makers'. It's good.
As for there being all these great folk groups, can you possibly point some out?? Not trying to be smart, genuinely interested in this kind of stuff at the moment.
