nice one, caughtbytheriver.
Best Coast play the Gla next week. Only 14 bar, but I can't decide if they will be worth seeing.
Anyone seen them before?

Yeah, they were pretty decent, if you like the album you'll like them live, they just pretty much do the record as it sounds, maybe a bit louder live and without all the reverbed backing vocals.
She talks about her fucking cat a lot though

They come here often though, so I imagine they'll be back sooner than later. Hopefully. I'm not going to miss them if I can help it.

Got a few coming up,
gonna see Twin Atlantic again when i'm paid next weekend, at the Lemon Tree, brewdog behind the bar, good shit
Awa to see Morrissey in Dunoon in June and headin down to see Pulp and their array of shrug-worthy support acts in TCOTU in July.
Also, Northern Lights festival in Aberdeen's Seaton park just got announced for its inaugural year; Maximo Park, Futureheads, Kelis, Idlewild, Madness, Sunshine Underground, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Twilight Sad, Tinchy, Example and a bunch of others, should be a liquid day oot.
Still waiting for Laura Marling to reschedule her date in abdn since the snow turned most English humans into drooling vegetables last november.

Aye, I know one of the guys involved in booking the bands for it, and he mentioned before I went away they were looking at a festival at Seaton Park and I had in my head something along the lines of Free at the Dee. What a cracking line-up for their first year.

I've been trying to get tickets for Morrissey on Inverness but Ticketmaster always says it can't find any tickets even though it doesn't say it's sold out Haven't had luck with the Edinburgh gig either (or that place near Edinburgh). I'll be at the Pulp show too

From my experience ticketmaster never says anything is sold out. You click how many tickets u want and what type, put their daft text code in then it tells you none are available.

Ticketmaster never uses the words "sold out". Only the venue or artist will do that. The other thing Ticketmaster will do if it is sold out is that they will close access to the search screen on the event page with a generic "Tickets arent available screen", but that wont happen for a while after onsale dates. It will never say "sold out" though.
