I'm being forced to go to CSS/Sleigh Bells/Neon Indian in a few weeks. Oh ffs how much will I hate that show!
It could possibly surpass the time I saw Grizzly Bear as worst shit ever. I was raging.

Glad we can agree on that Bill! They really were so bad, and it really wasn't even them... but the cunts, the utter pack of complete pricks that were in the crowd. I wanted to spark every last one of them.

Good to see bet welching prick raging about Grizzly Bear. I share his passionate feeling of hate for that pack of rotters. Or for any 'band' of that kind. Oh, and their fans, their fans...Don't even get me started

Won two tickets to see robert plant at our big jazz festival in june...the next day, elvis costello is playing, and he's bringing a big wheel with 40 songs on it that he spins to come up with the setlist. That's...interesting. So long as the wheel stops on 'pump it up' at one point.

Wilco come in November with prohibitive prizes, but I missed their last tour here so I really need to go and see them this time.

On a whim, I bought tickets to see Gordon Lightfoot in a small town next week. He's playing the local hockey arena. Yes, I'm Canadian. Why do you ask?

Grizzly Bear are a spectacularly good live band and I dunno about the states, but here the fans at their gigs are about as broad a mix of people as I've ever seen at a gig. Great music appeals to all kinds i suppose.

right, i've just had a look, and god knows what clashes, but on saturday i'd be interested in the following (then it's all dependent on where we watch the champs league final too...i'll be with a couple of united fans, so it could be epic either way!) Fleet Foxes San Miguel Stage PJ Harvey San Miguel Stage Gonjasufi Pitchfork Stage Odd Future Pitchfork Stage Cloud Nothings Pitchfork Stage DJ Shadow Llevant stage Mogwai Llevant stage Warpaint Llevant stage Dean Wareham plays Galaxie 500 ATP stage Yuck ATP stage Mercury Rev perform Deserter's Songs I'd really love to catch some traditional spanish guitar music too- there's obvs loads of spanish bands on the line up, and obvs i have no idea who any of them are- but the thought of sitting in the sun with an ice cold beer listening to spanish guitar sounds triffic
