Quilt / Manchester The Coral / York Was weighing up Ashcroft this weekend but it's almost £40 so reckon I'll pass. Oh and I was offered a free ticket for Travis the other night but turned it down. I'm either a prick or I've got morals, your call (please be prick). Saw Quilt once at Brixton Windmill and enjoyed. Loved their first album. Haven't they got a new'un due out? It's been out for a couple of months I think, it's OK. I need to spend some more time with it.

Cate Le Bon @ Gorilla Homeshake @ Fallow Cafe Parquet Courts @ Gorilla Ty Seagall @ The Ritz Beach Skulls @ Fallow Cafe Beck @ Albert Hall (i'm hoping, haven't got a ticket and it's sold out but will try and pull some strings) Benicassim Festival Karl Blau @ The Castle Hotel Teenage Fan Club @ Gorilla The Cure @ Manchester Arena
Any of you guys use the ticket app 'Dice'? Such a cracking way to buy tickets, no booking fee, one click buying of tickets (ie no having to enter your security code off yer card) & the ticket is an animated barcode that is stored within the app and scanned at the venue so no print outs or anything like that. You just need to remember your phone and have your battery charged.

Yeah, only used them once for Josh T. Pearson, but it worked a treat. Hope more artists/venues go this route & cut out the greedy middle-men.

Firday 17th June - The Stone Roses Glastonbury looks to be shaping up nicely now for me. Friday - James/ ?/Foals/Underworld Saturday - ?/Madness/The Last Shadow Puppets/Radiohead (looking likely)/New Order Sunday - ELO/LCD Soundsystem Loads of stuff between all of that without the day or stage confirmed but I'm fucking delighted with them headliners. Radiohead would be a great bonus before New Order Thursday 20th October - The Specials - Newcastle Tuesday 29th November - The Cure - Manchester
