I fucking HATED that last Future Islands album and his novelty dancing is purely for cunts.
You'll have a terrible night at Brixton Karl.

future islands have been really enjoyable the couple of times i've seen them live. just never feel that compelled to listen to them on record. they're playing norwich later in the year but think i'll leave it as i'm sure the novelty of the funny dancing wears off after seeing them a few times.

I sold out years ago Chrissie, I tell people I've seen Jet multiple times because the Stands would support, though I went once and only THE HISS were supporting so I clearly paid to see JET

Me, titchjuicy and srk are the only ones with any cred left. Kev as well if he posted more. Baz if he could reign in his vest and body paint shtick.

I asked one of them: 'Is Howie still tour managing you?' Guy responded: 'Tour managing? You just be joking. Howie has never lifted an amp in his life. It would ruin his look'

Baz if he could reign in his vest and body paint shtick. tis a mere dalliance! but yes i need to post here more. got dekmantel in amsterdam coming up beginning start of august (Shut it chrissie ) and that was the best festival i ever went to last year. complete lack of stress, only enjoyment. got tickets for little dragon and perfume genius but they're in october or november or another bitter month i don't care to think about now the former is a fucking barnstormer live, the latter is probably my favourite album of the year so far, so good times.

i revisited that perfume genius album the other day after being initially slightly disappointed by it and it's grown on me massively. something in me does miss his really fragile ballads of the first couple of albums but overall i quite like this sassy direction he's taken things in. certainly never would have guessed it from when i saw him live the first couple of times. he used to look like he was going to cry onstage, nowadays when you see him he fucking owns it.

that's great to hear. yes, he sounds like he is maturing into an excellent and layered musical performance artist and yes i know, i fucking hated reading those words too, but it shouldn't be an inherently bad thing. and he is doing a fucking great job. the album is like the solange album of 2017, unexpected depth and class without it being fucking boring.

Just saw him 2 months ago. Judging by that show...once was enough. (This year, anyway.)

I can't believe what I'm reading!
Srk turns his back on sir Bob? You know he'll die on the tour you decide not to see him.

It's all the same fucking tour! That's the problem!
And I hadn't seen him since 2014, so the back had already begun turning.

Primavera lineup leaked. Great as always but was hoping for some big surprise like Morricone. Also, Im realizing I wont catch Yeah Yeah Yeahs nor St Vincent and am really upset.
Still will probably do Porto if they bring Cave, War on Drugs, National, Deerhunter, Car Seat, Ty, Ariel...
