The Who just postponed their Toronto show until September because of "the Toronto raptors anticipated playoff schedule". Note that the raptors play end their playoffs entirely on...sunday. Jesus Christ. FUCK YOU, TOWNSHEND.

Saw J. Mascis at Islington Assembly Hall last night. Support came from Rosali. I checked out her tunes beforehand & sounded pretty good with full band arrangements. Unfortunately this was just her alone with an electric guitar, pleasant enough though a little dull. Hard to pull off a solo support slot at a large theatre.
J. Mascis was also on his own, was expecting a band to back him up. He did his best to make a racket with his pedals using loops & other gizmo's. set was a little short, though I think any longer and it may have started to drag. Enjoyable gig, finished off with covers of the Cure & Mazzy Star.

If only we had a moderator to issue warnings to people for such sloppy posting. Bring back Fenster.

Ride coming to a small club in montreal in September. Haven't seen them since the new material started coming out (caught them on the initial reunion run in 2015), so that'll be interesting.

For the size of the City, Luxembourghas a great live music scene. There’s a couple of summer one day festivals at indoor venues, the pick for me this year is Congés Annulés,a month of gigs, screenings, talks, exhibitions at Rotondes (actually two buildings the same as the Roundhouse, but with smaller stages). The price of a pass for (almost) all of that? €60.
Gigs included that I want to see; Bo Ningen, Julia Jacklin, Julien Baker, Bodega, Son of Lux, The Beths, Daughters and Drahla.

Noel's scissor girl has left the tour. Maybe he can draft D'arcy Wretzky as her replacement?

Going to see Donny McCaslin (of bowie's blackstar fame) tomorrow night and just realized he looks disturbingly similar to Jurgen Klopp. I have regrets now.
