can people please gimme a list of must-hear albums or tunes from 2010? being away, i have fallen behind something rotten and i'm itching to hear new stuff. quick descriptions would be outstanding, but just names would be great.
thank you ;D

cant remember how long youve been gone but the new lps by the likes of no age, marnie stern, deerhunter, belle and sebastian, grinderman, arcade fire, wavves etc are all worth checking out.
janelle monaes lp i reckon you will love if youve not already heard.
in terms of slightly smaller bands, big troubles, crocodiles, perfume genius and ariel pink have all released pretty excellent albums also.

TBF though it's been a really shit year for music. I'd struggle with a top 5 let alone a top 10 of the year.

There's absolutly nothing going on is there? The new music 'scene' is absolutly dead.
