at no point does it say "Liverpool to get points deduction", it just says what we've known all along, the the rules are a bit sketchy and it's still possible we'd get the deduction if Kop Football goes into administration.

9 points plus 60 million fine if its not sorted.
I really think hicks and gillett should stick to their guns here.

You're just wanting Liverpool to go down in order for you to gain a place in the league table.

You're just wanting Liverpool to go down in order for you to gain a place in the league table. take a look at the league table and then explain how we would gain a place

Well I'm not sure if you're aware of this or not but the season doesn't actually finish until May.

Well I'm not sure if you're aware of this or not but the season doesn't actually finish until May. For Everton fans the season is only two games long, Everton vs Liverpool and Liverpool vs Everton. If they win those two games but finish 19th it'd still be a great season for them. I'm on other forums where Evertonians still have the animated gif of Andy Johnson's goals and a pic that says "3-0" from several years ago

you spout some shite when you're not bullying someone you believe to be mentally disturbed but this one here doesnt even make any sense, getting relegated wouldnt be a great season for us now would it?
andy makes a poor point since I dont think its likely at all that liverpool will finish above us, with or without points deduction

updated version of the story above now explains why the points deduction is likely, and how all that need to happen for it to kick in is for hicks and gillett to either win their case next week, or lose and appeal it.
