The Walkmen - Lisbon, 9/10. Love how it starts all happy and rocky and then it gradually sinks down to a very moody and slow pace; the last three tracks brought tears to my face, literally, out of nowhere, bam, crying all over the pillow. It was immense.

Crocodiles - Sleep Forever, also a 9/10. Never heard this band before, thanks JP. Some really fantastic beats and rhythms there, quite an unexpected gem. Are their other albums as good as this one?

they only have one other and yeah, i prefer the debut but thats probably cos the new one is still er new, to me. both lps are fantastic though.
