i've not heard it and don't want to, and i'm sure it's fucking dire- but janelle monae's debuted at 51 in the uk album chart and that's probably the best album released this year

That cover is atrocious, really BAD choice but tbh, i think the record is okay. Not mindblowing or anything. Dont know why Barat is hated on here, though. Dont really know the guy other than his music.
