Back to the Future

remember bitching out and buying the vhs set when i wanted to rewatch all 3 about 6 yrs back now.

think i'll get this re-issue on bluray.

My all time favourite movies! Man I could watch the BTTF all day everyday!

I can't wait for them to come out on Blu-Ray! And yeah Ben really really odd to see someone else playing Marty Mcfly, I have heard that story before but I didn't know they shot with him for five weeks.

Eric Stoltz is too glam to be Marty, though, isn't he?

Too glum. I like Eric Stoltz but Michael J. Fox is iconic in the role. I dont think it'd have the same impact with Stoltz. Then again, who knows. Can you imagine Tom Selleck as Indiana Jones? Blah.

Interesting to see that Ben. It does look wrong but of course sticking anyone else in an iconic role that we are all so familiar with will always feel so out of place. I will say this though had it gone ahead with Stoltz it still would of been great & i'd imagine almost as (or just as) successful & we could of had more than three back to the future films to talk about.

There are many of those 'What if' stories in hollywood though, Charles Bronson turned down the lead role in the Dollars trilogy, had he accepted that Clint Eastwood may of never of made it big time & we'd be without a lot of great films.. or those films would of just starred somebody else. Always quite interesting though.

I always kind of liked the original concept for Back to the Future.. It was going to be a rather dark and grim movie with everything going to shit rather than a sort of humorous one.

Granted, it's still one of the best movies of all time so I'm not complaining.
