Where the one who fucked up goes to where the sad protagonist now lives/catches them at the airport before they move/interrupts their ongoing wedding and professes his/her undying love and the sad lead actually is moved enough to take them back and marry them on top of a mountain.. You reckon that ever works out in real life  ? I've always wondered if anyone from the real world has ever tried to pull this off successfully.  |

Nope, in real life, the girl gets married to her old fiance while the love of her life is in attendance, only to divorce a couple of year laters and marry that other dude, who wille start cheating on her as soon as her kid is born.
