I think it's becoming apparent to even the biggest buffoon that the winds of change have swung and we are now the greatest club in the country and the envy of all. How many other clubs would have come back from 4-0 down last night with 10 men. Yes we lost but what a loss. Stable financially, good management, a desire to play attacking football and a sensatioinal support. We haven't bought success, we have evolved slowly but surely year on year to our now status as a megapower of the European game. We're basically class apart from everyone else. Things have been done the right way. The Tottenham way. Only Arsenal come close to being so well run and their reluctance to sign British players and the fact they have a paedophile for a manager mean they in our shadow.

your manager looked as if he was about to fall asleep any minute in the second half against Werder to be honest and had no idea what was going on on the field.

We're talking about a European megapower here and you're pin pointing 45 minutes of action in a very creditable draw in Harry's first away game in the Champions League? I would give rip you to pieces but the fact you are clawing at straws shows just how minor the weaknesses are for the likes of you to have a pop at. I will restore the balance of positivity in this thread with a lovely picture of Dean Austin.

How many other clubs would have come back from 4-0 down last night with 10 men. Except you didn't come back from anything. You get one chance in the CL because Liverpool have a poor season and you end up embarrassing everyone by going 3-0 down in 10 minutes. Gareth Bale aside, this thread is laughable. Enjoy it while it lasts. The group stages that is.

What channel are you on tonight bruv? Channel 5? ITV 4? Babestation? You clubs been a complete shambles for a year and we're the best run club in the country. We're not just going to crumble are we? The squad is settled, young and talented and we're financially stable. WE CAN ALSO AFFORD TO BUILD A NEW GROUND. I really wouldn't compare us to Liverpool at the moment. This thread is for admiring the Tottenham way and not for petty arguments from bitter fans from clubs languishing in our shadow. Here's another picture to bring some more postive vibes to the thread.

Maybe you should expand on your opinion and suggest some possible holes in our set up both on and off the field otherwise you just look bitter that your match is on Dave tonight As always.....

it's taken you 49 years to get where you are now, and only because liverpool nearly went into administration ;D And erm no, you aren't the best run club in the country, we are. We have no debt, You have debt. We have a much bigger fan base than you, our commercial streams are much higher than yours, Our sponsorship deal trumps yours by what? at least 10-20 million pounds, and for two years we havent been able to exploit these, but now we can. basically the only question I have for you is.... U mad brah? FACT

U mad brah? That's an extremely arrogant and naïve post. It's taken a 5 year determined effort to break the top 4 consisting of 2 good managers and consistant steady investment in the team. We are the only club to have done this thus it's the only blue print available thus how do you think you're not in for a similar graft in trying to break back in? You finished seventh last year, you had absolutly no say in the run in. You were an after thought. Right now you have a possible top 4 board, a handful of top 4 players and that is it. Anything short of a Wenger/Mourinho and you're in for the same hard graft that we have been through. Your revenues are built around guaranteed Champions League football which you don't have this season or next season atleast. Do you think sponsors are going to be interested in your matches on ITV4? Do you think your fickle foreign fanbase is going to care in 2 years time when you have had no CL football? I bet The Orch is eyeing up a Spurs shirt at this very moment. Also, we have £70 million of debt which is dwarfed by our the amount of property we own in the Tottenham area (all bought in view of building a new ground) and probably dwarfed by the combined market value of Gareth Bale and Jamie O'Hara. Not forgetting you now have Tottenham and Man City as genuine contenders. The only time you have genuine contention for the top 4 you have bottled it both times. Not forgetting this is the most embarrassing video on the internet: Not forgetting your beloved board have currently got the Boston Red Sox's struggling to make the World Championship play-offs. U mad brah? No, making a thread of celebration suggests a joyous happy mood. Entering said thread and making bitter posts because your team is absymal suggests a more maddening mood. Do you catch my drift? Now let's get things back on track:

AXL Owning soapboxers since 2003 I honestly make a determined effort not to post in your threads, not even the stupid ones like your fickle support of your local football team. I know it's boring for everyone if I'm just constantly "spamming" you. It's a pretty mature stand to take I think you will agree. I'd appreciate it if you could repay the favor and keep out of this one. Cheers mate

There's been a shift of power in the main footballing metropolises of this country.
Everton, City and Spurs look like forming part of the new big 4 and the membership claims of Arsenal, United and Liverpool to this club look shaky to say the least (and in liverpool's case, just outright incorrect).
Blue and white is the new red.

Everton Forming part of the new big 4 Fucking hell, Slippy, you crack me up sometimes. Of course, I'll give you City & Spurs, but Everton? Correct me if I'm wrong but in the last 4 seasons, Everton have finished 6th, 5th, 5th, 8th? Is that right? How the fuck does that mean they're on the verge of breaking into the big 4? They'll be lucky to finish 6th this year, I reckon.

Let's not forget why you've made this thread Brah, you've never been more excited in your entire life, and all because you LOST a game at the San siro. too true. Come back when you've actually achieved something. Managing to get into the top 4 when Liverpool have one bad season is barely an achievement. It will be forgotten about within a couple of seasons even. Remember Everton finished above Liverpool once? Look where they are now, playing against the biggest and best in Europe still! Oh wait... Face it, you've peaked and Liverpool are but a sleeping giant for what, another season? Good luck with the rest of it.
