It's a big big album. Anne With An E is even growing on me.
Terrible Friend is fantastic! I'm looking forward to getting my CD of this one.

That NME reviewer is a fucking cunt and I'd like to break his nuts in half. Anyway. Favourite song? Mine's probably "The Body" tbf I like the album but I can't help thinking he has a point and had similar thoughts when I first listened to it, the lyrics are embarassingly teenage angsty, especially considering they were written by a man in his 30s.

Well the name of their band is The Pains of Being Pure at Heart ffs, what do people expect? For the record, I love the first album, just haven't gotten round to listening to the second yet. Aye, just made me think of Andy doing a hooker the first one isn't nowhere near as depressing lyrics-wise, instead it had songs about a love being fucking right! and young adult friction on it so maybe that's what was to be expected.

That song that goes 'everythings just everything' makes me cringe bigtime.
The new record is just too soft, too wet. Maybe the first was but the distortion covered it up & give it the kick that it needed. This one is plodding too much for me. Rather than growing I'm kind of feeling more disappointed everytime I hear it.

I still can't believe the main bloke is 47 and writes those tunes, he must be a nonce.
