its growing on me the more i listen. not upto the standard of the debut but tbh it is better than i expected, for some reason i didnt have much hope at all for this lp so a pleasant suprise.
cant wait to see them live again in june.

 need to give this more listens tbh. Only heard it the once - thought it were pretty good. I still think the Higher Than The Stars EP is the best thing they've done, though didn't most of y'all hate it on here? Pity Say No To Love and Lost Saint wasn't on the newie, too. I know they like their non-album singles and EP's, but i think it would've been far better with them in there. Off to listen again

I don't think anybody hated highter than the stars. It was just everybody knew it was shit compared to the debut.

My Terrible Friend has the worst middle 8 I've ever heard, probably ever.
Anne With An E and Strange are boring as fuck.
Otherwise, its a top album, Heaven's gonna happen Now is my favourite. Should've included the likes of Higher Than The Stars, Say No to Love and 103 tho, the whole elitist singles-are-just-singles thing is fucking them up in the long run if you ask me.

Ha it completely skipped my mind that one of these singles might not be on the record. Say No To Love definitely should of been on there. The B-side sounds like There Is A Light That Never Goes Out but obviously not as good. 'The One' b-side to Heart In Your Heartbreak IMO is better than anything on the entire album. Has the lead guitar turned up to 11 with minimal keyboards so sounds good.
Basically they should kick peggy out the band. She's ruined the new album + higher than the stars.
