Apart from hearing Liam's voice again I can't see how anyone could have had any high expectations on this. It was still the same band members and the same songwriters so you could pretty much sense how the quality would be. I am pleasantly surpised though. It's nothing ground-breaking and it would never be. As much as Noel is a MOR these days he is the one, if anyone, that might be able to change his sound more radically when free of the Oasis shackles. Having said this I find it fascinating that Liam leapt even further back in rock history. I doubt the rest of the album will have the same vibe though. All in all, I'm very happy to have Liam back singing a good rock song and showing once again he can lift an ordinary song above itself with his voice. And to hear that much piano in an Oasis song is a lot of fun. And as mentioned previously, it has a swagger and lightness to itself that you hadn't heard in an Oasis song for quite some time. This is all very well put. I love it TBH. It's a nice tune, the harmonic twist on the chorus is neat; maybe it's a bit too long though. Liam sounds great; I think something has changed in the way he sings--in the verse it sounds like he's not pushing his voice as hard as he used to. I like the fact that the track doesn't sound like your typical Oasis thing; this may not be very original in the big scheme of music history, but at least these guys are doing their own thing.

Once again, it COULD have been better. Rawer production, less come ons. Its there, but in the end you get annoyed by little details.

Yep, definitely too long. Would've been perfect at 2:30.

I think a sudden finish to the track on around 2:15 would of been ideal. If it ended there I'd of said it was really good. Drags itself out with those daft female baby come on's & outstays its welcome a little but overall it's a good tune, I like it. I'd say it sounds like Jerry Lee Lewis meets Raw Power Stooges

Yea I agree with the ending after about 2 minutes. no need to drag the baby, come on's out for that fucking long. I also agree that Noel could release a blinding single right to top this but is probably laughing somewhere changing diapers or whatever.
This isn't the single though, right?
