I think the 2010 era primal scream comparison is the best in the entire thread. I dont know if the entire album will be laughable, I reckon gem and Andy will save it a bit.

i HATED IT on first couple of listens last night but ive given it another 80,000 spins today and you know what, fuck it- lyrics are awful and its too long but its catchy breezy and fun and would be a monster live.
its not particuraly amazing and in alot of ways its very average, but i cant help but like it.

and yeah it cant be THE SINGLE if that even exists as a concept now, if its the best track we're in deep trouble here, but if its just a tune, like an album track, we could be onto a big winner.
the 22sec clip on the site is MASSIVE. i wanna hear that in full way more.

Dunno what people were expecting,
It's different and it is catchy, much more interesting then some of the tunes oasis were making from the last 3 -4 albums.
It sounds nothing like Oasis which is a good thing, they have taken it to another direction.

after a few more listens its definitely growing on me more, has Liam gone on record to say what type of sound they were going for before the single release? this might be the theme of the album for all we know.

This sounds like Liam doing an awesome karaoke version of a David Hasselhoff song.

I was up for work. Been hearing it all day. I disagree with para. Mostly because she doesn't KEY HER REASONS out. Bit difficult to argue that way.
I like it. Bouncy and hand-clappy. As discussed, Liam makes the tune. She just doesn't have the Liam respect.

it seems like a lot of people were expecting some epic world changing song, it is what it is, and I think it's really good.
Obviously it's not going to be the best track on the album as it's just a free download and just a little taster.
I think it's a right tune.

Yea it's probably just an album track, plus nowhere on their site can your read "first single" or even "single". Just "first release". The wording is important i think in a very marketed world. i'd bet it's the A Bell Will Ring of the record. (i hope).
