Keeping Masa on another year is tantamount to throwing away the constructers championship isn't it? No matter how good a car they build. Alonso could win every race and they'd still probably be nowhere near, must be REALLY cheap. Incidentally the first post of this thread makes amusing reading 'If I was Massa I would seriously consider leaving Ferrari as soon as possible' 'What right does Alonso have to get preferential treatment at Ferrari?' - The fact that his teammate might as well be a Chomp bar probably gives him the right Andy [/hindsightburn] Hamiltons still a bell

shit move for hamilton. unless the mercedes improve dramatically from now to next season. he's under performed at mclaren over the last couple of seasons. although the weekend proved it's not a one way street.

I've had a lot more time for Schumi this time round, probably because he hasn't been so (or at all) dominant. His performances this season have just about saved his comeback from being a total embarrassment but it's interesting to see that without totally superior equipment (or, if you're cynical, a bit of assistance from the FIA) his racecraft hasn't really got him anywhere. I'm not convinced that the current generation are better than he was at his peak, though.

only 4 pts in it between alonso & vettell now. the F1 season seems to drag out longer these days. back in the day it was over in september.

Lewis Hamilton @lewishamilton Just noticed @jensonbutton unfollowed, thats a shame. After 3 years as teammates, I thought we respected one another but clearly he doesn't. My bad, just found out Jenson never followed me. Don't blame him! Need to be on Twitter more!
