Liked this thread on the last version of the forum so worth resurrecting.

Thoroughly enjoyed, as usual. Even if the winter bit was regurgitated.

Glad he highlighted the 24 hour Raoul Moat coverage, what an utter shower of shit that was all round.

Anyone been watching Arctic with Bruce Parry? Missed last nights because of the snooker final but I'm going to iPlayer that shit in a minute. Fair enough the Arctic might not be quite as exciting as Tribe or whatever but anythign with Bruce Parry in it is always watchable, the man's infectious enthusiasm is second only to that of the mighty Professor Brian Cox.

I love that video :D He has one of those moments in Bad Lieutenant where he pretends to be on drugs which I couldn't believe he actually went there. He's actually great in that film though.

:-X that's going on my To Watch list

Keep wanting to buy that Wicker Man on DVD, as it goes for (literally) pennies, but i think that highlight video has all the bits you'd want :-X

Have you ever seen The Room, Karl? If not, PLEASE d/l it ASAP. It's literally the shoddiest film ever made, and utterly hilarious from start to finish. I can't even type the words to do it justice. So truly rotten it becomes amazing

Limmy's Show is incredibly good

Episode 2 of series 2 is the best half hour of TV since leef.

edit: Ep 3 didn't work for me at all though strangely, like s1e4, it seemed to have all the weakest recurring sections and one offs grouped together. Anyway, he's a genius.

I agree on episode 3 of the new series, definitely weaker than usual. How did you get to hear about him btw? Out of interest, since it's a BBC Scotland show.

The Killing Fields is on BBC 1 tonight. Recording it.

Does anyone ever actually watch any of the recommendations in this thread? :-X Genuine question, as i dunno if its worth the effort or not

2 big films on the tellyhole the neet

3:10 To Yuma (2007) - C5, 9.00

Burn After Reading - ITV1, 10.15

If you had to go for just the one, I'd say Yuma, for its that bit better >:(

I've been wanting to see Burn After Reading again ever since the first time I seen it, which was when it came out. So, good shout.

Well, I can forget that idea. They're only bloody showing Highlander instead on channel 3 in Scotland. :o
