well, maybe i agree, the lyrics seem to be typical gem nonsense. here's my take: you didnt know i just say that i'll command you today can't get out your own way well hold on hold on hold on i'm havin out in the sun"Hiding out in the sun" maybe? It's quite good. Some of the best vocals from Liam in ages.

it did blow me away, i think its absolute quality. YOU DICK. first your moaning about vinyl, now you dislike the roller. what's next? endorsing coldplay? get a grip. This is my favorite Beady Eye song yet. Nice, catchy, sweet, good vox, it just sounds fresh, like something you hear at the park in the summer laying by your significant other joking about ladders and smoking cigarettes.

I'll say this about it, I've only listened to it once a couple of hours ago, and I've had the chorus running through my head ever since. Of course, I could say the same thing about the jingle for 'meow mix', but still...it's catchy.

I'm not gonna lie...I was sat by my radio at 8 this morning, I'd already heard the 30 sec snippet and was impressed by it and knew it was gonna turn out to be something a bit special
And how it fucking was, I love, love, love it! Yeh it's John Lennon, but fuck it, everyones got their influences and what better than Lennon!
It blew me away, I've had it on alll day and still can't get enough of it! It's my fave so far out of the lot they've released, but Four Letter Word will be the live fave no doubt!
Just a great song by what looks to be a fucking great band! Bring on the album!!!!!! Does it look like it's gonna be leaked soon at all?

i just had a walk and can now cast my final verdict: the roller is awesome. had it in my head (just call me the roller) while walking and felt really empowered and lifted up, like one of the elders, strolling down the street. i guess i does for lads what aguileras music does for lasses. empowerment and putting back that swagger in your walk, if you know what i mean. stars and rock and roll with a good bit of fun. let's ave it.

That guitar on the chorus is a total Getting Better rip off.

Liams vocals are indeed good, without them it would really be no different to this . The production is indeed a bit too rushed on The Roller, gotta agree, the drums, the guitars, dont sound very unique at all. Something Noel managed to at least do, even on bad songs. I guess that's the producer's fault.

Its not the worst thing ever, but yea, no impact for a proper debut single, but its a bit muddy anyway with Bring the Light, Four Letter Word, oh but THIS is the single lol.
Four Letter Word 8/10 The Roller 7/10 Bring the Light 4/10
