i can't name you a single beyonce song that ever really appealed to me tbh, whereas i could pull a good dozen aguilera tracks just from the top of my head: beautiful, fighter, can't hold us down, the voice within, hello, mother, hurt, lift me up, genie in a bottle  , dirrrty, keeps getting better, not myself tonight, you lost me, makes me wanna pray, i am, i even liked tell me with shawn puffy combs  and that other track with ricky martin, nobody wants to be lonely.  imbruglia is also awesome obviously, but not exactly in the same league eh. i heard she was drinking a lot at a time in her life, which i thought was amazing, because when a women so beautiful is drinking, there kinda is something special about it. i bought the torn single in a supermarket, to soothe myself, after i damaged the back of a mercedes s-klasse, when i tried to back out of a parking space in 1998 or something. still love it. |
