Carry Us All It has a sort of sentimental value to me. Went on a massive lads holiday to Malia in 2003. At the end of the holiday we were all sat around the reception of the appartments with out luggage waiting for the coach to take us to the airport. We were all fairly trashed from the previous 2 weeks antics and listening to some Oasis anc chatting etc. This song came on at a perfect moment when the chat stopped and we all just sat back, gutted that the holiday was over.

Underneath The Sky, cracking vocal, great production, I really like the lyrics as well. I would have given my left testicle to hear liam sing this live in 96

Really though, the only tracks i really can't stand are Magic Pie and The Quiet Ones. I'd even take Maxwell's Silver Hammer over them two Magic Pie's alreet I think, like Girl In The Dirty Shirt it's spoiled but a comically lazy chorus though (and the fact that it's called Magic fucking Pie), but that pickslide is badass. I agree about The Quiet Ones though it's absolutely putrid , that and Those Swollen Hand Blues are the only two I don't bother with. On the subject of ICSAL, the version from Letterman is absolutely brutal, Liam at his raspy peak at the start of the SOTSOG tour Iv never really liked this song before but after watching this video i realise it's actually a monster of a tune, Iv been listening to SOTSOG in my car lately.

Always loved Hey Now. I still remember hearing that for the first time in my car after I bought the CD in 1995. Me and my gf at the time (was 17) were stoned and were mesmerized by "I hitched a ride with my soul at the side of the road" line. Liam's delivery is pretty damn perfect.
Always liked Helter Skelter and Hey Hey My My on Familiar to Millions as well. Neither are patches on the originals, but I think they are fine homages.
Idler's Dream, Eyeball Tickler, and It's A Crime (I hate LTBL in comparison) would be my others.

You've got to be kidding with Hey Hey, My My and Helter Skelter surely? Two songs that thrive on their rawness and unabashed abrasiveness, rendered complete soulless dirges by Noel Gallagher

Bring It On Down never seems to get mentioned that much compared to rest of the album, great track.
Also;
I Will Believe Take Me Away Roll It Over Sad Song
Rockin' Chair tbh. "I'm older than I wish to be, this town holds no more for me" makes me want to spontaneously pack a bag and fuck off somewhere every time I hear it.

I think Noel performs them well on F2M. Obviously not a patch on the originals.

I dont think anyone on here underrates that at all. Its in my top 3 of all time Oasis tunes and I believe when we did that Oasis ranking thingy a few years ago, it came in 4th or 5th.

1. Shock Of the Lightening...unintended mentioned this. I agree. I feel this really hit the stop for me, those opening verses are just awesome to wake up to in the morning. One of the best songs of 2008.
....
I hitched a ride with my soul
By the side of the road
Just as the sky turned black
I took a walk with my fame
Down memory lane
I never did find my way back
Hey now is the least talked about tune of those morning glory days. Shame it was never played. ...
that i can see a liar performance post above, both letterman i think the french one? is great great. I also found Better Man with the drum loop from the Cd Uk show in 2002 , just cool beans. ...
I hope I think I know is the for me from Be Here Now.
Better People is really great too.
My guilty pleasure is The Fame. " is my happening too deafening for you? " o fucking yes.

In what universe is The Masterplan underated?! Still one the finest songs Noel has ever written and stuck on as a B side is a total disgrace. Truly if it was on Whats The Story of Morning Glory. Everyone viewed that album totally different.
