hahaha, i'm fully suporrting this new blain / rod supergroup. it's gonna be like a soapbox version of Humble Pie. Rod being Peter Frampton obviously.

Sorry I thought you were laughing because you thought they were shit. I'm pretty sure I will feel the dust flying off my mp3 player when I hear the Wynd debut! You'll hear the dust flying off our songs it'll be that long since we recorded them. I'm beginning to wonder if our 2nd record will come out before the debut.

Folks,
I don't know of a more powerful band right now. I've loved a lot of records so far this year but nothing gets me going like Cloud Nothings. I just found a bunch of old EP's and Singles I haven't heard before, I'm looking forward to finding some gems in it.

I was really in love with those early singles, like this thread proves. But it's like a different band.

huge band. it took me a while for the change in sound to click with me but when i saw them live last year it all fell into place. the newest album is in my top 3 of the year too.

Yeah, the sophomore was too angsty and dense when I just wanted 2 minute lofi melodic tunes. New one is a good mix of both sides.

Last two albums have been huge.
I heard a lot of people complaining that they miss the second guitarist live though. I think he got a criminal record now or something.
