Just popped through my mailbox...blasting 4 letter word on the stereo for the first time. NOTHING EVER LASTS....FOREVER.
Fuckin' have it. The album's worth it just for this song.

Was in Glasgow centre earlier listening to some Beady Eye on my headphones. Turned the corner at the top of Buchanan Street, the sun was shining and For Anyone just started in perfect timing. It was a moment to behold.

You do realize that's like saying I just won 15 million quid while listening to Wigwam, but it was Wigwam that gave the sheer joy, Andy?

For Anyone was an integral part of the moment. I'd have swapped it for £15m though, no bother.

Surely 'The Beat Goes On' would work better if the line was "The Beat still plays"...

But it'd be a better quasi-rhyme, yes?
Really stands out, much like Noel not writing a 3rd verse for Live Forever, and instead having the first one half-repeated.

Still really enjoying this not a bad song on there, not quite a classic tho, a few too many smudge marks on there for me (too many mentions of dreams, rhyming one word with the same word, and not enough solos! What happened to Andy bells much heralded Hendrix infused return to guitar!!!) but yeah a good effort, in the Liam Gallagher cannon of albums I'd rate it as his 4th best
Be here now Def maybe Wtsmg DGSS Hc (don't laugh, I probably enjoy songbird, Hindu times and scyho more than the below albums combined) Dbtt, doys, sotsog I rate all about equal

DBTT on par wth DM Fuck off, lino Are you having a laugh? Is this a wind up (dream)? As for SOTSOG, it's recently became my favourite Oasis record so at this point I'd say SOTSOG ---> DM.

there all pretty decent efforts, i dont think there's one song i actually dislike. beatles and stones should be awful but for some reason i quite like it, think its the drumming especially after the first chorus when it goes back into the verse.........."well its better me mama i jus wanna rockn'roll" Dum ber dum dum dum, think its on the toms (?) sounds ace Ya, those drums sound staggeringly good. And then there's the part with the piano. I love the way it changes from the verse to the chorus. Honestly, I can't believe how much I enjoy the song, one of my favourites, definitely.

I gotta be honest, bar Live Forever and Slide Away, most of it's tracks are flawed (even LF is to a point - see earlier comment). I'm never not honest on this board. Can we at least agree than Shakermaker is close to being their poorest single, along with Little by Little?

just like with bring the light, you cannot trust anyone who doesn't love shakermaker. those songs tap right into the spirit of rock'n'roll.

I know it's all subjective but come on. Shakermaker is brilliant. Do you like Columbia?
