Lino, do you like the red hot chilli peppers? Meh. "Can't Stop' is alright. That's about it. In any case, a couple of weeks of listening to nothing but DGSS, it still stands up - can gladly listen to the whole thing (even KFAD (though it's place as the worst track hasn't changed)).

I've realized that, although most of the reviews (both by critics and fans) tend to converge in most of the points, specially on the eroded cliches, if you take 10 people and close each one of them on their ownn in a room and ask them to pick their 3 favourites, you will probably cover 95% of the songs on the album. And that happened with DBTT and DOYS too.
What does it mean? Well, I don't know, but it surely means something, and probably something good...

Wouldn't have expected anything different from "Columbia rocks man"... Beat goes on (or "Beat still plays" as I sing it) is still the album highlight. What a vocal melody!

Heck no. Never been.
I have never ever ever ever understood the appeal of Columbia, particularly outside of a live performance. It's a pointless dirge on the album. That's all.

I confess I'm having my first proper listen to the album from start to finish, after holding it a bit too much I failed a little and have listened to all of the tracks at least twice in different days, but yeah, this is the one. I'm already BDI4IT, the three starters are all brilliant and Beatles & Stones sounds 1000 times better than when I first heard that terrible rip.
