Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe

i recently dusted of my N64 and got me some new old games off of ebay that were quite difficult to get here in germany back in the day because of the rather harsh youth protection laws:

- doom 64
- quake
- quake II
- duke nukem 64
- virtual pool 64
- worms armageddon
- mortal kombat 4
- killer instinct gold
- mace, the dark age
- conkers bad fur day

so if i'm playing, i'm playing these right now. all rather great games, especially quake. i probably wont play the beat em ups much, but it's still nice to have them added to my collection.

Floating between a lot of things. I rarely play for anything more than a hour or two now, so its a lot of sports games (NBA 2K11) and trying to get through things Ive not yet finished. I dont think my backlog has ever been longer.

I just grabbed Dragon Age 2 off the torrents so that will be one to jump into soon enough.

Alan Wake

just started. looks ok. I obiously picked it up cheap, like all my games. played one episode. I thought it would be more of a thinking game though.

Still banging away on UFC Undisputed 2010. Mainly playing ranked matches. Currently sitting at 98-114-2. My form has really picked up, should have more wins than losses come the end of the weekend. Went on a 10 fight win streak lady night thanks to my ability to tap people out with Nogiuera.

Just completed Half Life 2. I haven't completed a game in years, other than CoD I think but you can finish the 1 player in about half an hour ffs.

worth getting the orange box if you enjoyed half life 2

Yeah, that's what I have thankfully. Onto Episode 1 next.

I hear Episodes 1, 2 and the upcoming 3 are in place of an actual Half Life 3 game, which is rather depressing. Looks like we may never get one.

apparently its the last in the Gordon Freeman story, but wont be the last Half Life game.

still, half-life 2 is easily one of the best games ever, and episode 2 is fucking amazing also (episode 1 a little less so).

you played portal yet andy?

I've not yet, no. It seems a little confusing, otherwise I would have probably given it a go by now. The time will come though because it looks intriguing and I've heard good things.

Got bored of UFC and got back into MW2. Forgot how addictive the multiplayer is.

Just picked up MLB The Show 11 but haven't really gotten into it yet.

I've been playing Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 a lot lately. I don't think it is rated very highly around these parts but I've been having a blast with it.

andy you'll probably finish up portal in about 2 sesions, is not really that hard and you'll feel like a badass after solving the later puzzles

i finished portal in 1 sitting and it was in my top 3 gaming experiences ever

i need to buy orange box, i never finished episodes 1 and 2

yah portal is one of the best things ever. it's a perfect game really.
