Nah just play at home from time to time. It does take a lot of time so just book the odd show now and again. It's quite satisfying creating superstars, even if they're not real
Started on LA Noir this morning, it's quite enjoyable and the pacing is of the story and how it's unfolding is right up my street. I've also started Halo 3.
Back To The Future: It's About Time / Episode 1 (PC) Got it yesterday and finished in a couple of runs. What should I say? If you liked Back to the Future (and I don't know a single person on Earth who didn't), then you have to get this. It's a point and click adventure a-la Monkey Island, so you basically have to go thru "events" that turn out to be puzzles. The scenario is an alternative 'Back to the Future' set in the 30s so no, you don't play scenes from the movie but a whole different story. It's easy yes, and it's short, since it's just one episode out of four or five (the second episode is already out!) but it's fantastic to play as Marty, interact with Doc, Biff and live in a Back to the Future possible world!
Kirby Super Star Ultra (Nintendo DS) It's great but it's not one of my type. Kirby games are a bit too slow for my taste, but I'm sure people who like Yoshi's Island and the likes will love it to death. It's a lovely game and a pleasure to play, there's a lot of creativity in the levels and a good dose of humor so there's really nothing not to like and if your short of platforming games definitely give it a try.
Went in to GameStop yesterday to replace my scratched copy of FM11 but they didn't have any copies left so pocked up WWE Allstars, NBA Jam and Tiger Woods 11 for the Xbox. Played a bit of WWE Allstars last night and it is brilliant fun, I'd definitely recommend any wrasslin' fans out there to pick it up.
Just bought a PS3 and got 3 months LoveFilm for free with it. I've been using it as a BluRay player but downloaded Uncharted demo off the Playstation Store and loved it. So will be getting that from LoveFilm next. Can't wait.
In preparation for Gears of War 3 I bought the second one today. I've not played any of them before but it looks the bollocks. Also downloaded the demo's for NHL12, Madden12 and that Space Marine's game so I'll have a crack at those later.
is there a simple football manager game around these days? Football manager demands way much time and energy these days, i just want to click through a season in an hour or two
Bought GOW3 the other day and haven't touched it yet as i've been playing Madden 12, i was going to return it until a time when i can dedicate time to it, only to find my nephew had opened it when he got in from school so there goes that idea.

What team you using in Madden?
Great game, but fucking ridiculous that they got the Raiders' jersey number font wrong.

just got it as an early christmas/birthday gift from my roomate/boyfriend's brother.
9/10 so far. I've only played through about 20% of it. Pretty solid. Fighting system is almost exactly like the one from the first game. Storyline is also v. good (so far as I've gotten in to the game)
