Fans of the US Office/people that secretly wanted to give it a go but didn't want to relinquish their 'the yanks have ruined another classic!' stance should all watch this. It's by the same people and follows a similar structure and style to begin with (though I imagine it develops it's own identity over time much like The Office US did separate from the original). Been going through the first few eps of loads of yank sitcoms I haven't seen over the past few days and this one really stands out. Give it a whirl, I reckon you'll only need two episodes to make your mind up either way.
Also I literally can't stop myself saying 'Oh my God, you're so fucking fit' every time Rashida Jones comes on screen. So, you know, it has fly bitches too.
Dukes of Hazzard - Season 2 - Episode 27 - The Runaway
rich guy holmes wants his bitch daughter back who is fucking this other hick. holmes don't want her marrying the hick so uncle jesse steps in and tells him to stop being a prick
those 2 eps of curb your enthusiasm where larry gets with loretta from the blacks and then the one where jeff bangs funkhousers mental sister. just insanely great. it makes the most reprehensible things charming and groin-grabbingly hilarious. wonderful stuff.
Been working my way through the complete Only Fools and Horses againover the past week or so. I've seen them all before many times but my brother got the complete DVD set a couple of weeks ago after already having them all on VHS, so he gave me the videos.
Just watched A Royal Flush tonight and remembered why i hated it so much, it really is the worst episode by a mile. It's the complete opposite to what Only Fools is all about, Del Boy's supposed to be loveable but in this episode you really start to hate him, he's a selfish, ignorant, bully and even though there are loads of scenes in other episodes where he's shown to be a bit of a cunt, he always corrects the problem in the end in a way that makes you think "oh he didn't mean any harm". But in this episode it's clear what his intentions are and it gets very uncomfortable at times and actually makes me angry (especially during the opera scenes and at the dinner table.)
As much as i hate them i think a laughter track would have helped lighten the mood a bit and would make some of the scenes less excruciating. There are some parts that are actually funny like Rodney with the shotgun but they're few and far between.
I just can't work out what they were trying to do with this episode, there isn't even a happy ending that you expect, it's weird, the episode feels far too long yet the story is unfinished at the end.
Finally got through the whole of Dexter. Not sure if anybody's a fan on here but I really like it. Anyway, I'd been steadily working through each season but last night got to the end of Season 5 and I thought it was excellent tbh. Julia Stiles (who I'm now probably in love with) was mint and I thought it was perfectly tense from her introduction into it. The main antagonist and the story behind him seemed spot on too. Don't think it was as gripping as the end of Season 4 but it was certainly a close 2nd. Can't wait for season 6.

2/10
i agree it's not one of the better only fools.
but 2 outta 10.
It's really terrible. The whole thing is so stupid and predictable and there's nothing believable in the whole episode.
Lots of Beavis & Butthead. The episode where Butt-Head is choking is amazing, as is the episode where the pork rinds get stuck in the vending machine and Butt-Head goes looking for 60 cents.
re-tuned by freeview recently so I now get Challenge TV. What an epic morning I've had.

WHEEL OF FORTUNE DALE'S SUPER MARKET SWEEP FAMILY FORTUNES & my personal favourite CATCHPHRASE!
Thinking of quitting my job so I can watch this every single day. Forgot how great catchphrase is. Say what you see! If you see it, say it! Keep guessing, Keep Pressing.

It's funny you should say that because me and my mates have been having a Catchphrase revival via Challenge TV for about the past month. Roy Walker is some man, and every episode is guaranteed to contain a 90's waistcoat.
We're putting £150 into the Bonus Bank, ladies and gentlemen!! WOOO.

They just don't make 'em like that anymore.
once one of my mates in a maths lesson drew a shockingly good cartoon of mr chips raping roy walkers wife, with his hand over her mouth, whispering menacingly in her ear "it's good but it's not the one"
The King James Bible: The Book that Changed the World
Just watched this on iplayer and, although I'm not a fan of Melvyn Bragg at all, it was pretty fascinating. Not preachy at all but it went into quite a lot of interesting detail about the links between Christianity, the English language, civil wars in the UK and USA, science and humanist ideals. Worth a watch, regardless of faith. 8
