Season 7 episode 1 "Funkhouser's Crazy Sister"
Loved it. Funkhouser's gotta be one of the best supporting characters on it, really, plus that name! The bit where he hears Jeff banging Bam Bam is one of the funniest things I've seen lately.

FINALLY FINISHED IT. watched the first season in about a week when i got it for xmas and its taken me ever since to finish season 2

but yeah season 2 is clearly a bit shit compared to the first which is pretty much perfection, however this was still highly enjoyable and the time it took me to finish it is mostly down to my laziness than any sign of its quality.

CAN FINALLY START ON MY SOPRANOS BOXSET I GOT FOR XMAS NOW. HOPE TO FINISH IT BY THE TIME IM 40

The Wire - Season One

I don't think it's as good as The Sorpranos.

It's defintely, defintely Premier League though.

Mad show.

My only critiscism is despite some horrible shit* it comes across as a bit warm and fuzzy at times.

Some of the actors are shit as well. Omar and Avon are rubbish The guy who does Avon sounds like Derek Zoolander Omar is quite iconic but I'm not sure after the hype he's up there with the likes of Delboy and Karl Kennedy for me.

Half way through Season Two now. That Ziggy is a right cunt ;D

it was just shit, when it started it was just a lot of dumb fun with 2 dimensional characters, not all of which were likable, then they went on too long, tried to give some of them some depth, but really, who could possibly give a shit?

indeed, although if i was pitching in there, she is the one i'd want onboard the most. she's definitely the most encouraging of the lot.

C'mon Bazza.

Some like the guy who plays D'Angelo is leagues ahead of those two ;D

i can only say now that i feel your opinion will change quite markedly as the show progresses

The Wire - Season Two

TBH I couldn't put one season above the other. They are both right on the level.

Maybe Season One was slightly better as those bar scenes were fucking awful. "Get in the bar and have a shot and a beer!" Fuck off!

I do wonder how long Stringer's gonna last. Brother is making a lot of mistakes and enemies. Omar gonna fuck him up sooner or later.

I was hoping the last scene would be Avon getting out of nick but I was quite satisfied.



I watched the first episode of Season Three as well.

Frank Sobotka is possibly the greatest written tv character ever. season two broke my heart a little.

There was nothing likeable about him.
