Ah, it's all good. I'm sure I can get it online. Get drunk and don't worry about the setlist.

Yea, that was from the Swedish gigs. Its probably going to be almost exactly like that, maybe a few changes. Im not concerned. They can play whatever the fuck they want. Always a helluva gig.

That's a great setlist, tbf. But no Mardy Bum.

I think they've not played mardy bum (or at least not on a regular basis) for a couple of years now.
Would be nice to see them again. Not seen them for a long time, I think Ally Pally in 2007. They either do small gigs which I can't get tickets for or arena's on week nights which doesn't appeal to me at all.

Tonight's gig is in a 2500 or so capacity club, so its perfect. Next week is in fuck all Central Park, although its Summerstage, but still 8000 or so which wont be the same. I honestly hope its pissing rain next week. I seem to love gigs in the rain

The songs I've heard so far are horrid......
Before I even bother to download, are the album tracks an improvement?

Brad, download it.
Just finishing my first listen, it's fucking brilliant. Wasn't keen on the 2 I'd heard, sound great on the album.
Contender for album of the year.

I think its very good so far. Im on a bit of a contact high, but the weakest track IMO is Brick by Brick. I love Turner's vocals throughout the record. It feels very much like a mix of Humbug and Nightmare. Seems to be a lot of ballads on this record.
First listen impressions:
1. She's Thunderstorms - Interesting opener. Kind of a slow build. Doesnt feel like an opener, but its a good tune. 2. Black Treacle - I like this one a lot. 3. Brick by Brick - Almost feels out of place. Its not awful, but I think its the weakest. 4. Hellcat Spangled Shalalala - This is my favorite of the songs I heard prior to the record. I like the lyrics and melody. 5. Dont Sit Down - This is a fun tune. Good single. 6. Library Pictures - This song is bi-polar, but in a good way. Its all over the place. I love when they get like this. 7. All of My Own Stunts - Really enjoyed this one. Sounds almost like a cousin of Dangerous Animals, minus the spelling lesson. 8. Reckless Serenade - Another ballad-y type. Its alright. Need to listen to it more. Not an immediate one way or another. 9. Piledriver Waltz - This was the song I was most interested to hear. It was on Alex's Submarine soundtrack. This is a different version, but its the same song.Prefer the Submarine version as of now, but its still strong here. 10. Love is a Laserquest - Needs more listens really. Interesting tune. Took two listens to love it. 11. Suck It and See - I expected this to be heavier considering the title, but I really like it. 12. Thats Where You're Wrong - May be the best on the record. I love it on first listen.
Its hard to say on first listen how I'll feel about this record after 10-20 listens. It seems that there are a lot of ballads. Not slow necessarily, more in sentiment. Lots of slow builds to louder creschendos and middles. Theres no real all out rockers other than the single, but its very very good. Solid 8-9/10 first listen.

I hate to spoil the positive mood, but I'm not convinced on first listen.
