www.nme.com/news/tabloid-hell/55989"Noel said he wanted to focus on his solo career and feels he has a duty to stop Beady Eye stinking up the bottom of the charts," they said.

It's not as if Noel can slag them off that much, he's still mates with Gem and Andy and I assume Chris... So doubt he'd slag his own mates off, he's probably just saying it to piss Liam off I can't wait for the reaction tho

Only people whose opinions no one gives a shit about go to be judge in such shows. So yeah, I pretty much agree with the above statement

"feels he has a duty to stop Beady Eye stinking up the bottom of the charts,"
Not to get technical about it, but there's only two ways he could do that: 1) re-form oasis or 2) put out an album that does even *worse* than different gear etc.

Exactly what I thought. Unless he means to release a great album that won't do that good.

A bit confused by that last bit, but nice one I'm going to bed. Can I just say that Noel Gallagher is a scrotum for the masses, as in half arsed fans who tend to claim 'Noel is Oasis', like some cunt like Jonathan Ross. Noel clearly still thinks charts sales are important hence why he released Little By Little with its cringeworthy chorus and mindshitting deliverance. I have faith in a few brilliant tunes coming from this album but I think the overall sound will be timid, and eleven or so Noel-on-vocals tracks, nah way. Even the transition from Talk Tonight to Going Nowhere is painful when you know you've got Fade Away waiting to burst your ears, and Noel hardly dominates that compilation anyway. They're both heroes, can't deny that through my own life, but if we're talking/bickering as to who's still more valuable to real music, real people, Peggy, hungry kids and the media, it's got to be Liam.

Matthew, I know a few people who force themselves not to like Oasis or Beady Eye because they think they're either too arrogant or too popular or think they're not intellectual enough as people to sit in their music section. These people will probably starting dabbling into Noel's solo music now that the 'loud mouthed, untalented' one has left and they'll no doubt claim they were right all along when Noel reaches #1 with She Is Love pt.2.
They ain't real people to me. Chavs at Oasis gigs > Stephen Fry's dickie bow.

There's only good or bad music, or good or bad people. They sound like cunts. Plenty of cunts at Oasis gigs too mind.
The 'real' line always pisses me off, it's music, not a class war.
