Well this took me by surprise  No idea what to make of it. First thought was he's gone back to the Style Council sound. Should be an interesting record. I guess at least it's cool that he's not staying in a comfort zone & trying to churn out what is expected. I've literally no idea what I think of the track.  ^ he's got the look. |

really liked it. the weller image of dadrock traditionalist doesn't really ring true it's quite apparent that he's a ballsy proper artist (even if i'm not the biggest fan of all his stuff)

i think he was guilty of having a bit of a dadrock slump in the late 90s/early 00s but its clear that for the majority of his career weller has been a bit of a don and his last few releases show his creativity is still very much there.

hahahahahahhahaahhaa the vest is spectacular. the song i dont know really, just dont know yet. its not too far removed from a lot of what he has done in the past, but i dunno if its what i personally want from weller. but at least hes following the muse instead of playing it safe i spose. still wake up the nation is more me than this.
