Yes but Oasis was Noel, BDI are living off Noel. Also, Noel is actually good at writing and making songs, I'm pretty sure he'll attract new fans with his next two albums. Without Noel there would be no Oasis. Without Liam there would be no Oasis. It's that simple. that is bullshit. |

What's often forgotten/ignored is that it's Liam who showed the get up and go to start up a band and practise every night etc while Noel was in some shitty job with the Gas board (i think). Without Liam, Noel would still be doing that. Without Noel, Liam's band would not have been oasis. |

Noel wrote the songs while he hurt himself at the gas board. When he returned home to discover Liam formed a band he was already a roady with the Inspiral Carpets. To think he would of not recieved a record deal in England after Parklife when bands such as Mens Wear and Northern Uproar were signed to six figure deals is naive.

I don't doubt Noel would have went on to start a band or be a credible artist but Liam's is what makes a load of Oasis' songs so brilliant. |

I have a number of friends who despise Liam and love Noel. They are much more interested in Noel's solo album than anything Oasis have done since SOTSOG.

Now that Noel hasn't got Liam weighing him down, he can go on and enjoy even greater success as a solo artist. |
