the amount of people that have said to me, something along the lines of 'Oasis? Liam is a twat' and I always say that i listen to the music, i don't care what the lead singer is like in real life.
but yeah, iv come across quite a few people who just hate oasis because of liam, so wouldn't give oasis a chance at all.

Beady Eye were never going to attract new fans but I don't think they were bothered. Liam loves making music, loves doing rock n roll, that's strikingly clear. I don't think Beady Eye exist to earn a pay cheque or attract new fans, I think they exist because they're genuinely in love with music. Whether people like that music or not doesn't concern them.

There is nothing rock n roll about DGSS there might be a hint of it, but it is generic, boring, and uninspired. I can't stand Beady Eye but what you said about their music also applies to Noel's first single: generic, boring, uninspired...and also more irritating than Beady Eye, considering that Noel is the "talented" one. |

The only two tracks I'd genuinely consider shite would be Beatles n Stones and Kill For A Dream which still makes me laff out loud. Total cringey pissweak Oasis parody
Lop them off, and i reckon there's a decent record there, with a bit of reordering

Yeah, i only really kept WUD (  ) in there to help with the flow and tempo of the album. It's a bit of a mediocre one, tbh I really like Two Of A Kind, but i don't think it quite fits or works on there, for some reason |

beatles and stones is like milli vanilli level embarrassment, in terms of how sorry I feel for people who even slightly like it. It's just so so bad. At the end of the day only hardcore liam fans will like the beady eye record. Fact of the matter is, it's not a good album. Urban Hymns is a good album, and it's not even the verves best, the last strokes record, that's a good album etc etc. DGSS is not a good album, unless you're a fan boy faggot. IM GONNA STAND THE TEST OF TIME LIKE BEATLES AND STONES. Jesus. You can waste your time justifying your hatred for Beady Eye & Different Gear, Still Speeding as much as you want. Fact of the matter is, people still like them. As for the album, it didn't exactly slated, did it? It actually got some pretty favorable reviews. I'm pretty sure Noel's album will get better reviews and there is a chance I may enjoy it more but as Noel himself pretty much said, they're two different beasts. You're hatred for all things Beady Eye is amusing. |
