Noel by numbers with some trumpets.
To be honest, I don't hate it - its alright and nicely a forgettable cousin to Importance of Being Idle. I hope there are a few more like Noel's tracks from Dig Out Your Soul.
Certainly not as good as half the BDI record - but its 1 track, a few more to come out yet

How are they carrying on living off the Oasis name you absolute spastic?? because there only fans are Oasis fans, if it wasn't for the fact that they used to be in Oasis, they'd be nothing. But they can carry on selling an average amount of CD's, touring medium sized venues just because all the old Oasis fans will keep buying and going to gigs (like mohoney and his cronies). Because it's Liam Gallagher from Oasis, who has a shit voice these days and writes crappy songs. BDI are that bad that they probably wouldn't even have a record deal if it wasn't for Oasis.

I wondered how Orch would try and justify his love of the song whilst having no ability for sharing emotions that aren't boring or bitter.
Unsurprisingly he fucked up again.
It looks like it's down to Jimmy to argue the case now.

BOOM !!! And Orch, you say that BDI are living off Oasis' success. I think its fair, if you apply that criteria to say that Noel is currently doing the same based on this track.....

Its a jaunty little pop song which does the trick. Its a far better song than The importance of being idle anyway in my opinion. Im sure there'll be better songs on the album which maybe arent as radio friendly and commercial as this but its a good comeback and would easily be the best song on BDI album.

I don't think much to it tbh but it's been made to get air time on the radio, which it will get. i still think the album will be more than good though, better than BDI for sure. I listened to that album twice and never again, absolute fucking shocking album. don't see how i fucked up really, what i said about bdi living off oasis is true. living off noel more or less.

You didn't, that's the point. You're supposed to fall in line with your superiors (see above) and pretend you like it.
Music made for the radio is BAD. As music made for the radio goes it's no Swagger Jagger.
You go on and on and on about an album you have heard twice. This is strange and unhealthy.
Beady Eye play in front of a large banner with BEADY EYE written on it. They play songs released by BEADY EYE to a crowd of people who have came to see BEADY EYE.
What are you going on about?

you seriously think that BDI have their own fans? It's just some of the old Oasis fans.

What about Noel fans? Are they not just old Oasis fans, too?

Yes but Oasis was Noel, BDI are living off Noel. Also, Noel is actually good at writing and making songs, I'm pretty sure he'll attract new fans with his next two albums.

Im not getting this you can only like one or the other stuff that seems to be coming accross. I fucking love both of them and love BDI's album and really like Noels new song. Why is it one or the other? The only thing pissing me off is Noels blatant lies about the demise of Oasis. He's bullshitting and Liams came accross much better in all of this if you have any sense. Musically though, give your heads a fucking shake, they're both heroes and Noels albums going to be amazing and BDI are quality.

I stuck The Masterplan on for the first time in ages yesterday, and I'm struggling to believe that this is by the same man who wrote Underneath the Sky, Fade Away and Rocking Chair. I've been giving it big anti-Noel licks for a while but I went into this with an open mind - it's instantly forgettable.

Yeah, I don't get people talking about how catchy it is. I've listened to it a few times now and it's not really stuck in my head or owt.
Still, I'd probably rate it 7/10
