I saw the 'twist' coming about 15 minutes into the film, thought the plot was dull & the film wasn't that interesting. Had no rape scenes either.

Leo was great though, he is golden box office material, can never fault him. Seeing that Inception tonight, hope it's good.

Emile Hirsch needs to come out with something good now. I'm sick of watching Into the Wild.

Um, Castaway, absolutely delightfully heartbreaking. Cried like a girl at the end, too, fucking hell, I think I'm turning into...my...mother :o 8.75/10

Yeh I just watched Shutter Island a few days ago, thought it was pretty damn good too

So....at the end

when they were waiting there to see if he went mental again, he's was pretending right? So they'd fry his brain, but really he was sane

That's how I interpreted the ending as well, seemed quite obvious to me because of the question he asked him right before that, forget the exact wording of it, but the people I was with said no way and that he was just gone mental again. I think we're right.

*attention Erica! mini celebrity sighting* I saw Elisha Cuthbert a week or two ago. She's a really nice girl. Her boyfriend is the captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs and he spends summers here with his family, she's here quite often apparently.

Catch Me If You Can

A fun little film... that goes on for 2 hours and 20 minutes. Too much content crammed in didn't fit the light tone of the film so it just coasted to an end in neutral.

Only a 6? It's on my top 10 films ever, I give it over a 9.

The Reader. Ok, was I the only mong who got the dates wrong? Did she work at the camps after they had the affair or before? I think I read the dates wrong, but then how would it be possible for the kid to look so young at the end of the film (Ralph Fiennes hardly looks over 50)? So, if their affair happened in the 30's or early 40's, he must have been 40something during the trials and in law school? That can't be right. Can anyone confirm this? And sue me but I thought the sex scenes were hot. Yes, I'm probably a paedo. Anyway I give it like a 7.85/10

It really moved me, this film. I love leo tbh, such a good actor and he choses his role in an awesome manner. The music, my god the music. I had to switch the lamp on when they stepped onto the island the first time. Also, some big ass tears came running down my cheek. fantastic movie.

if you like Gavin and Stacey you'll LOVE Horne and Corden

theres even a scene where the fat one takes his clothes off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yesterday i saw:
STANDER

south african detective kills a black kid in riot, goes a bit mental about it and at the same time realises that the police are spending so much time guarding the blacks that they arent even in the white parts, so starts robbing banks, good fun 8/10

Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid

I like sam peckinpah films a lot and this has good write ups. apparently there are 3 different versions and the one i saw is the newest: it was dogshit. 5/10

Observe & Report

Watched this on Sky Premier the other night and was really suprised by it. I thought it was going to be a comedy in the same vein as 'Superbad' etc but it was far from it.

Mental illness, hard drug use, date rape and a flasher gave this film a really dark feel, but also some big laughs. I highly recommend it.

7.5/10

I went to school with Sean Avery and you'll be happy to know he was on the recieving end of one of the worst ass kickings I've ever seen. Another kid rode him down a hill like he was a sled and beat the crap out of him. This was moments after Sean slapped a girl. Class act.
