So I saw three great films in two days: The Town, The Fighter and Black Swan. Its weird but looking back at them I am highly disappointed on The Fighter and The Town was just a cool movie. But Black Swan, stuck with me for this long. Still thinking about some scenes (not just the sexy scenes) but what a beautiful film. Still have some questions about the film but overall all I can think of is what a beautiful dark film. Black Swan 9.8/10 as good as a film gets for me, i was hoping it would never end and just carry on as part of my life, i wanted to bring it home and hold it all night then cook breakfast for it in the morning. r u talking about the film or natalie portman & mila kunis???

;D ;D Black Swan, fuck me, best film of 2010, best film of the last 5 years actually. Amazing, if it doesn't get the Oscar (and Portman for best actress) then there's no justice in this world. Beautiful, scary, moving, exciting, well-acted, amazing score...anyway everyone needs to see this if you haven't. 9.2/10

Black Swan doesn't look like my thing in the slightest but since everyone is having a circle wank over it I've got it downloading.

Tron: Legacy visually great, banging soundtrack. however, bar bridges, the characterisation was pisspoor. couldn't give a shit about anyone and the storyline jolted around without continuity or patience. but since it's xmas, i'll end on a positive note: watched it at the imax which made it just about worth the entrance and olivia wilde was fit as always. 6.0/10

Just got back, so will write a better review later, but went to see that little indie flick, Tron:Legacy. Erm..... it was alreet. Lovely effects, some great action sequences (but not enough, i thought), and it achieves pretty much all you'd want and expect, but, well, it's missing something. Something i can't quite put my finger on yet. People have slagged off the de-aging effects used on Jeff Bridges in the film, but i thought it just about worked. Not as smooth and seamless as Benjamin Button, but it wasn't as jarring and distracting as i've heard. The eyes and mouths on these things still look a little monged, though. The 3D ain't much cop really, either. All the bits outside the game-world are in 2D, which for some reason irritated me a bit. Especially as its being hyped up as this great, immersive 3D experience. Though in another way, it does make the entering into the game-world that little bit more exciting and eventful i guess. Anyway, it's pretty decent. Well worth a watch, but doesn't quite hit the level i hoped for. yeah agreed with this entirely. the 3D was next-to-pointless.

Shutter Island Pretty much I expected from what other people had said, definitely worth a re-watch with a fresh perspective at some point. Good, not great, possibly with more to give the second time around. And when looking back on the decade, Leo's brow knotted with intense, sweaty confusion will surely be cinema's defining image, and we got plenty of that here. Sgotta be 7/10
