Season 1 Episdoe 1 of Band of Brothers

8.9/10

What a great first episode, for such a large cast they do a great job of introducing so many characters. Some good camradre emerging amongst EZ company, shockingly strong performance by Ross, and about five minutes of epic plane shots to end the whole episode. You gotta love the bit with the Brit on the bike... his interaction with Winters was perfect. But lets get to war and crank this tension up a notch already, jeez.

That episode is the best "table set" for any series ever except the Twin Peaks pilot.

Major League (1989)

Tom Berenger
Charlie Sheen
Corbin Bernsen
Rene Russo
Wesley Snipes
Chelcie Ross
Dennis Haysbert
Bob Uecker
James Gammon

The new owner of the Cleveland Indians puts together an unlikely group of players in hopes the team loses so many games that she is allowed to move the team to Miami for personal gain.

Can the team come together and fuck this bitch over? FUCK and YES.

yea classic that is, the coach just died very recently too.

For my money, Wesley Snipes' best work. He didnt do enough comedy.

He sure was great in it. Makes you wonder what happened after that.
Thought he was pretty funny in Curb as well but then he seems to have gone off the radar.

The Lost Boys

First time seeing this and i loved it. Yer woman Star is a stunner she'd definitely get it. Couldn't help feeling a bit sad every time Corey Haim was on screen though. Top soundtrack as well.

The World's Fastest Indian

Really enjoyed it tbh.. Anthony Hopkins played a good part. I wish Burt Munro was my grandpa

Classic when he called that guy "A total prick" :D :D

Anyway good film, I kept expecting something bad to happen, it kinda did but nothing like I thought it would. Were people that nice in the 50's?? 8-) I like to think so

Good film

Baby Mama, re-watch after re-watch this never gets old. How awesome is Amy Poehler?! Funny as fuck. Those two ladies should copulate; they'd make the awesomest female babies ever. 8/10

Yeah, they really managed that episode really well. I think any of the emotional episodes they had like that & the birth of baby david they handled really well. I kind of wish they made some real nasty episodes with very little funny moments and a shitload of drama, perhaps Anthony & jim could of had a massive row that resulted in one of them hitting out or something.

Fools & horses was the same, that episode where Del takes the beating to protect Rodney is beautiful :(
