Always felt there was a big drop in quality in series 3, not much to it and Dave and Denise start to get dangerously stupid, the episode after Elsie's funeral is golden though
PROS: A good cast with an especially strong performance by Leonardo Di Caprio; visually arresting, especially in the architecture; deft handling of the dream-within-a-dream sequences; Hans Zimmer's powerful score. CONS: Too often favors action over idea and thus never quite lives up to the potential of its original concept; open-ended ending that most genre viewers, and perhaps more savvy general audiences, will see coming fairly early.
i typed that ab vee ass lay^^ anyway it was pretty good ahehehehehehehe
Loved it. I hold the original TV show in high regard, absolutely one of my favourite TV series' ever so was a little worried going into this but I really, really enjoyed it. Tons of fun. Yes, it was overblown and there's some shoddy CGI in places but I don't care. It made me laugh, kept me entertained and I felt like I was 7 again.

Agree totally with that, first 2 are 2 of the best series of comedy I've ever seen, glad it carried on even though the one-off episodes we get from time to time aren't great theres usually a couple of great moments in them still.

I'll second that..
Most far fetched film I've ever seen but it was fucking awesome
Bit shit, wasn't it? The most amusing parts of the movie were the multitude of cameos by different actors/actresses. Otherwise it was pretty worthless. The scene with Gervais and his mom in the hospital was cringeworthy. It would have been a touching moment, but Gervais can't act, thus instead of being touched I merely got a case of the dry heaves. Not to mention there is a new plot hole damn near every 30 seconds. It just seems like they came up with a fairly interesting idea for a movie, but had no idea how to pull it off. Shite.
The only saving grace was the inclusion of that one Donovan song I quite like.
That film looked kinda interesting and promising, but it does turn out to be fucking dire, and Jennifer Garner needs to stop acting, seriously, what a shitcunt. I gave it about a 4.33/10
Um, anyway last night I watched (500) Days of Summer, after a heated argument with Bazisa, I decided to check it again to see if I was wrong in my opinion that Zooey's character isn't a bitch. I stand by it. She isn't a bitch FFS, I support all her opinions and decisions. Anyway great little film, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the next big star and the soundtrack was good, even Zooey was enjoyable (I'm not a big fan of her dead-pan performances from the past TBH) and I want to steal her closet, some funny bits (apparently saying 'hey' means I'm a lesbian, lol), some not-so-funny bits ('anal girl'? Come on). Liked it very much, 8.95/10
Just finished 'A Time to Kill'. Based on John Grisham's first novel, a black man is tried for murder in the south after he kills his daughter's rapists. Hadn't seen it in about ten years, and I must say, I enjoyed it. First off, the movie is stacked with actors. Samuel L, Wooderson, Spacey, Keifer AND Donald Sutherland, Ashley Judd, Whatsherface Bullock, Oliver Platt, gay dad from American Beauty, Ghost Dog and tons more. The movie itself is a bit shallow, but I'll be damned if it isn't engaging. Satisfying conclusion, nicely shot, nicely paced, and great performances throughout. Check it out if you're in the mood for some courtroom drama that's high on energy and low on brain cells.
