I thought the same. Stevie Wonder - Fulfillingness' First Finale (1974) Really strong record that comes near the middle of what I guess is Stevie's classic period. Had never heard about the record before TBH so I guess it's not held in the same light as the records it's sandwiched between but almost every song is superb. 8/10 John Patton - Understanding (1968) Superb instrumental soul-jazz. Real groovy shit. 8.5 Kate Bush - The Dreaming (1982) Many consider this Kate's best album so I gotta admit I'm a little disappointed with The Dreaming. I'm slowly working my way through her career & didn't think this was any better than Never for Ever or Lionheart which all three I'd consider as good records but nothing more or nothing less. Her debut the Kick Inside however for me is classic. Onto Hounds of Love next, I tried it years ago and it put me off bothering with her so hopefully I'll have a different opinion this time around. 7.25

artist rather than album, but Rodriguez- the subject of the film 'Searching for Sugarman'.
Blown away
Like a cross between Bob Dylan, late 60's Van Morrison and tinged with the kind of Tropicalia pyschedelia (Os Mutantes etc)
